Mission: “By God's grace, One Mission Society unites, inspires and equips Christians to make disciples of Jesus Christ, multiplying dynamic communities of believers around the world.”

One Mission Society (OMS) desires to train people to spread the message of Jesus Christ throughout the world. OMS has created partnerships with multiple organizations worldwide to help with their cause and create new churches. They send missionaries to over 70 countries. OMS is now based in Greenwood, IN and continues to spread to new countries and more people daily.

Intern Responsibilities

Job Description:

The International Ministries team helps support and further ministry to make disciples of Jesus Christ in more than 70 countries around the world. Spend the summer serving alongside this team as you assist with coordinating events for international leaders, developing plans for missionaries about to head overseas to help them transition well, and preparing for board meetings. Learn more about missions contexts and non-profit management through research and other projects to support the International Ministries team.

Conduct research
Help with events
Assist missionaries as they head overseas
Help with preparation for board meetings

Requirements

Committed follower of Jesus Christ
Strong attention to detail
Interest in event planning
Interest in missions and non-profit work
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Integrity to handle confidential information
Positive attitude
Entering junior or senior year in college (preferred)
